OUR HEART BEATS FOR GENEROSITY

At Citizen Church, it's no secret that our heart beats for generosity. Our goal is to see the Kingdom of God expand with every dollar we invest. The vision that drives everything we do at Citizen Church is threefold - Build the Church, Serve the City, Change the World. We have a heart to build the local church across the globe, serve the city in which we are planted, and change the world through numerous international partnerships. This vision is audacious, faith-filled, and only through the support of the faithful and consistent partners can it succeed. When you give to Kingdom Builders, you become a part of helping the Kingdom of God expand.

Current Projects

Chruch Planting Assistance . . .

We believe firmly in not only building Citizen Church, but building THE Church of Jesus Christ across the globe. Through Kingdom Builders giving in the 2018/2019 cycle, we plan to continue providing seed funding to church plants across the nation to enable them to launch in thier respective cities free from financial concern, focusing on ministry to the people in their area. We also plan to provide resourcing and funding to churches in our city, state, and region to enable them to succeed and take more ground for the kingdom of God.

Maui Campus . . .

Our desire is to expand our influence to other cities. In 2019 we set a goal to start the fundraising process for launching our first campus which will included facilities, equipment, training leaders, and resourcing staff. In October we officially luanched our first satellite campus, Citizen Church Maui. We have placed full time Pastors that are working to build staff and teams to reach the island of Maui.

Highland High School . . .

Highland High School is one of the lowest-rated schools in our district when it comes to student performance, graduation rates, and academic success. As a church, we have committed to doing what we can to help students at Highland succeed, and turn around the statistics for the better. We are continually looking for ways to resource the school, and it's feeder school, Van Buren Middle School, both of which are historically overlooked and under-resourced. With the Partnership of Kingdom Builders, we look forward to working with the Administration of the schools to identify key areas in which we as a church can provide "no strings attached" resources to help students succeed.

Immigrant/Refugee Assistance . . .

Last year, we financially partnered with an organization in Amarillo, Texas, that provided English as a Second Language (ESL) classes with citizenship training pathways to immigrants. This unique organization, Culture Cross, is committed not only to assisting immigrants in their understanding of the English language and with achieving citizenship, but is also committed to helping immigrants launch churches to reach others in their area. Through Kingdom Builders, we have a vision to open a Culture Cross center in Albuquerque, providing the ESL and citizenship assistance to immigrants in our own city.

Hospital in Kenya . . .

Over the last 8 years, our church has partnered with a missionary group in Mombasa, Kenya to reach the Digo Tribe in Eastern Africa. In addition to funding missions work, our commitment to this people group has been primarily centered around providing medical aid. The provision of medical service opens a wide door of opportunity for the missionaries on the ground to reach the Digo peopl, who are a primarily Muslim population with the hope of Jesus Christ. This past year, the missionary we have partnered with communicated to us the need to build a hospital to provide expanded medical services to the Digo people. The missionary has already purchased the land for the hospital, and just needs the financial resources to build the building. This year we have a vision to raise the money to entirely fund the building project.
