Missionaries Sent From Citizen Church
Raquel Esquibel
Chihuahua, Mexico
Raquel is the first missionary sent by Citizen Church! She is a full-time missionary in Chihuahua, Mexico and is partnered with an organization called Colonia LightShine to reach the Tarahumara people. After going on mission trips to Chihuahua with Citizen Church for over 10 years and has developed a deep love for the Tarahumara community. The Tarahumara people are an indigenous people group that have been displaced from their traditional homes in the Sierra Madre Mountains and are now living in cities affected by drug-related issues and poverty. Her focus is to bring generational change to children and families by introducing them to truth of the gospel.

CJ Rodriguez
Kenya, Africa
Citizen Church is supporting CJ in taking his first step in exploring the call to missions. Since his first missions a young child he felt the Lord plant in his heart a deep love for missions in Africa. CJ has been accepted by Assemblies of God World Missions to intern with the organization, Africa’s Children where he will experience living and working in the mission field while playing a vital part in implement strategies to develop the Next Gen ministries of Kenya Assemblies of God. We know that end of his 11-month internship, CJ will have a deeper understanding of God’s call and purpose for his life, as well as a clear vision of His plans for the future.
