Missionaries Sent From Citizen Church
Raquel Esquibel
Chihuahua, Mexico
Raquel is the first missionary sent by Citizen Church! She is a full-time missionary in Chihuahua, Mexico and is partnered with an organization called Colonia LightShine to reach the Tarahumara people. After going on mission trips to Chihuahua with Citizen Church for over 10 years and has developed a deep love for the Tarahumara community. The Tarahumara people are an indigenous people group that have been displaced from their traditional homes in the Sierra Madre Mountains and are now living in cities affected by drug-related issues and poverty. Her focus is to bring generational change to children and families by introducing them to truth of the gospel.

CJ Rodriguez
Kenya, Africa
Citizen Church is proudly supporting CJ as he begins his journey to explore a calling in missions. From a young age, CJ has felt a profound passion for missions in Africa, inspired by his early experiences. He has been accepted as an intern with Assemblies of God World Missions at Africa’s Children, where he will have the opportunity to live and work in the mission field. In this role, he will contribute significantly to the implementation of strategies aimed at developing the Next Gen ministries of the Kenya Assemblies of God. We believe that by the conclusion of his 11-month internship, CJ will gain a deeper understanding of God’s calling and purpose for his life, along with a clearer vision of His plans for the future.
Support the work that CJ will be doing with the next generation in Kenya with a time or monthly donation.
